Overview
Triumph Tiger 1050 Chain Guard
The Triumph Tiger 1050 is a fantastic Dual-Sport Adventure bike… But riders of the new Tiger 1050 quickly learn that the stock chain guard is too small! It's not wide enough nor long enough. Since it doesn't fully cover the chain and rear sprocket, it allows chain lube, road grime, mud, water and other nasty stuff to fling all over the bike and rider. The Pat Walsh chain guard for the Tiger 1050 fixes all that.
Features:
- 2” (5.2 cm) longer and ½” (1.3 cm) wider than the stock plastic chain guard
- Exact bolt-on replacement
- Laser-cut CNC bent 5052 aluminum
- Black powder coated
Since our improved chain guard is longer and wider than the stock guard, the installation instructions suggest that you move the rear wheel forward so the new guard will fit into place easier. Tiger rider John P. from California discovered a simple installation trick. Read what he says below:
"Just bought a Triumph Chain Guard from you awesome product THANKS LOVE IT... Just a note all I did was let the air out of the rear tire completely and the chain guard slid into place with no problems. Did not have to slide the rear tire forward at all.. Thks Again"

"GREAT tip about letting the air out of the back tire instead of moving the tire up. I just installed my chain guard and it was a snap!"
